A huge thank you to all those who attended the recent covid vaccination clinics at Tisbury Surgery. 70% of our eligible practice population were vaccinated.
The criteria from NHS England was very prescriptive for the Spring cohort of patients. However, we believe that eligibility is likely to be the same as the flu vaccination guidelines in the Autumn so anticipate vaccinating far more patients later in the year.
PLEASE let us have your mobile telephone number so that we can send an online booking text as we had many comments about ‘how easy it was to click on the link and book an appointment’.
We would remind patients that, unlike flu, the supply of the covid vaccinations is dependent upon ICB receipt and subsequent distribution to Practices. Therefore, we are not always able to give the same notice of forthcoming clinics that we can for our flu sessions.
We would also like to wish Dr. Hannah Bintcliffe well as she starts her maternity leave and look forward to welcoming her back to the surgery in January.
We are very grateful to Dr. Peter Jenkins and Dr. Michelle Hall for providing cover during her absence and are pleased to confirm we will continue to be able to provide our women’s health clinics.
Let’s hope we get a little more sunshine and rather less rain this month!
